We know children learn and grow best when they feel healthy, comfortable, and secure. Our team takes every precaution to create a safe environment where families can feel confident leaving their little ones in our care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how we protect and care for your child every day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Caring Staff You Can Trust<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Every adult caring for children is fingerprint-cleared, CPR-certified, and trained in first aid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our team is committed to protecting children and is legally required to report any concerns about safety or well-being.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Health &amp; Wellness for All<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Children must be up to date on immunizations before joining our community\u2014this helps us keep everyone safe and healthy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a child isn\u2019t feeling well our staff will let you know right away and ask that they rest at home until they\u2019re ready to return.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To keep our floors safe and clean for little explorers, shoes are removed at the front door.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When Your Child Needs Rest at Home<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, the best place for healing is at home. We\u2019ll ask children to stay home or go home early if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Infants under 4 months have any fever.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children 4 months or older have a fever of 99.5\u00b0F or higher without fever reducers. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They\u2019ve had two or more bouts of vomiting in 24 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They\u2019ve had three or more episodes of diarrhea in 24 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They have an unexplained rash, eye infection, or other symptoms that could be contagious.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Children can return once they\u2019ve been fever-free or symptom-free for at least 24 hours, or with a doctor\u2019s note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nutrition &amp; Food Safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>We follow licensing guidelines: serving 1% milk to children over age two, encouraging water throughout the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outside food isn\u2019t allowed unless approved by staff, to help protect children with allergies or special dietary needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Breastfeeding families are welcome! Milk should be labeled with your child\u2019s name and the date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Medication &amp; Special Care<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Medications must come in their original containers, clearly labeled with your child\u2019s name. We\u2019ll also ask you to complete a short form so we can give the right dose at the right time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For some medications, we may also need a doctor\u2019s note.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please note: licensing does not allow staff to administer insulin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Injuries &amp; Emergencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>For small scrapes or bumps, we\u2019ll clean, cover, and let you know what happened.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a bigger emergency ever occurs, we\u2019ll call you right away\u2014and if necessary, emergency services too.
